Starting day of the Cat challenge. So far I donโt see any contest posts. But here is the score sheet with those that have registered so far.
The registered names are in the order they were received, but as scores are posted they will begin to filter from highest to lowest.
North team draws first blood. But Iโm sure it wonโt be long before the South hammers back. Enjoy the next 8 months chasing the kitties, be safe.
Well, end of week #1 and the early lead by the North got answered and surpassed by several aggressive Southern Catters. The sizes of some of the early Cats says this years contest is likely to be a real barn-burner.
South Team has posted some nice Cats and is beginning to make their move up.
Standings as of 19 May 2021
New month. Some struggles with posting photos to the site, but standings should be up to date as of yesterday.
Since the enlargement option is missing from the site right now, posted these standings as large attachment in the post, at a size just within maximum KB size.

Despite the recent wacky weather, glitches on the site with posting contest photos, and other life happens issues, I think I have all the scores up-to-date.
If anyone sees something I may have missed, please send me a PM.
South Team total team score took a big jump last 10 days with several southerners finally getting out and posting fish.
North Team still has an 8 point lead in the Top 10, but is 1.5 points behind the south in the top 20.
With a dry year, water levels dropping everywhere, it may be one of the tougher Cat Contests in the last several years.
Continued good luck to all. Stay safe.
Standings 17 July 2021
Water levels are dropping fast. Probably wonโt be too much longer that only the tubers, yakers, and pontooers, will be able to continue chasing the big Cats.
