A calf was confirmed killed by wolves on private land near Hall on Tuesday, April 15 th . Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks authorized the lethal removal of two wolves.
USDA Wildlife Services killed one wolf on April 18 th and another wolf on April 21st. The control action is now complete.
FWP uses an incremental approach to address confirmed livestock depredations and will continue to work with area landowners and grazing allotment permittees to reduce depredation risks and monitor the area for wolves.
