With the mild winter, any estimates on walleye/white bass run for April?? We hit the system last year in May, and the walleye were done, and whitebass in full bite.. It may be earlier this year..

For whatever reason, it works every year to determine the whitebass run… Within 2 weeks, you should be able to walk across the river and not touch the water. (i.e on boats)..

I fish it often as I live two blocks from winnebago> when I hear something I’ll post it here for you. Had a great year sturgeon spearing on the lake. Lots of big ones speared. I expect the ice to go out fast as its ot as thick as other years. We actually had open water spots all winter long.
