Fished Winder today for about 3 hrs. Caught several small bass and nothing else. Fished by the dam.
I’m surprised you didn’t catch any gills. There seems to be a lot in there when I fish it in the summer. You might try some of the other waters around Preston. Through the ice I think that there are alot better fisheries than Winder.

I’m not through with Winder yet. I’m heading back tomorrow to try a different area.
If you have time check out Foster and/or Lamont. Both of them are a couple places that I have wanted to fish but just haven’t had time.

I fished Foster on Sunday. It was kinda slow but very good results. I’ll probably hit Lamont in the next week or two.
