I went to willow pond today and had a great day lots of bites,hits, and ticks. The fish we’re biting on powerbait and marshmellows. I lost about five fish right at the bank because of there light bites. Two of the three boy scouts ,one of the boys dad and my son caught fish. I got only three if you don’t count the ones i hooked and handed of to a boy. We got there at 7:30pm and we’re fishing on the east side where the stream comes in to the lake. and later on in the night, the dwr truck rolls up in the parking lot and starts stocking fish. So the fishing should be great tomorrow.[;)][;)]

Thanks for the report, always good to hear about the kids out fishing. Has there been alot of pressure at Willow?
Not anymore pressure then normal, and with the same amount of trash and fish line on the ground.[unsure] I wish they had a class that taught people about the impact of trashing the park before they could fish there. But on the flip side it does give lots of kids and people the opportunity to get excited about fishing.
