Has anyone been out latey? And if so any boils yet? Thanks in advance
We haven’t been on Willard in two weeks but my son got out there last Sat, but caught nothing but cats. No word of any boils.
Didn’t see any boils today. Stayed primarily on the West Bank. Fished from 630 to 11. Nice cloud cover with a little wind. Surprisingly little boat traffic. Saw a lot of fish suspended and trolled mostly an assortment of crankbaits. Ended up with one decent walleye on a jerk bait later in the morning.
Good for you, catching eyes this time of the year is tough. Did you launch from the North or the South marina? Just curious what the water level is, by the docks.
Thanks. I launched out of the South marina. Water level seemed about the same as it’s been all summer.
Did you happen to notice if there was water coming down the channel by the upper baffles?
