I know that somebody has probably answered this, but i couldn’t find it. Is there a way to fish the South Marina of Willard without having to pay the 10 bucks? Is there another place to park or can you park on the side of the road? Thanks.
If you are just planning to fish from shore…and don’t mind a hike…there are two options. First is to park just outside the metal pipe gate and hike down the south dike. Second is to park out on the main road and hike down the north dike. I used to fish off the point and around the corner to the north of the north dike all the time. Not really a bad hike and you can bring a backpack or wheeled cart if you have a lot of gear. The access is through the fence in front of the water users building at the end of the inlet channel.
