White Bass on Fly Rod?

Anybody fish white bass at UL (or other) with the fly rod? Seems like it could be fun, fast action from the float tube.

Yes, but not from a float tube. I’ve done it at a few spots/inlets at UL with great success and a lot of fun. Once I was on shore and buddy was in float tube just 15 ft out from me. We both nailed quite a few. He was using spin w/ jig. Both were equally productive.

If one was to launch a tube to fish White Bass with a fly rod where would good access be found?
