Where are the DC Walleye???

I have fished Deer creek hard for the past month. Have averaged 2 walleye per trip. Usually this time of the year it is game on. Curious if anyone has any speculation on where they are at???

Cold rainy weather set them back. Give it a few more days to stablize, they there !!!

where at deercreek

My guess is that you are up in the River arm, working the flats up there. Move back to the middle of the lake and work deeper, say 15-25 ft. Rainbow bay is also a good spot when they are holding out. The other option would be to go VERY shallow, under 3ft. work all the brush where the perch fry will be hiding.

headed there noe will post later tying a whole arsonal of cranks and bottom goodies thanks to all the knowledge

I should have never given my wife walleye!!!

Northwest shore. Where it faces south. Below the white stuff. Dark green 3 inch curly tails and 1/8 long shank jigs.

There in there. Unstable weather. Where have you been fishing and from shore or boat ?

The lake is way up from last year and the weather hasn"t helped. We fished for about three hours on Thursday and only managed a couple eyes. Think they are still spread out and hiding in the brush. We still have the best success with the bottom bouncers on the railroad side.

thanks everyone for your ideas. I have mostly been fishing the flats in the north end but have jumped around some to different areas. All walleye i have caught so far have been in 15-25 ft of water. Heading up tonight and will try some new areas and post what i catch. I’m in a clack and tan smoker craft if anyone is up there say hello!
