As some of you know, I am heading to the Gorge in July for a couple weeks and want to save myself a headache or two if I can.
What ramp is the best to launch out of? This will help decide where to camp. I’m thinking Lucerne?
Also, anyone know if where their are showers the public can use. After 2 weeks I will be pretty ripe!!! LOL

I vote for Lucerne. I don’t know about showers, but there’s a KOA down the road in Manilla where I camp that has showers. Lucerne is a good central location for all the mac, bass, and koke fishing.
Dennis is right the KOA is the only place that has showers on that side. The KOA also has a pool, grass and is close to the only grocery store around. Now if you launch on the Cedar Springs side you can camp at Deer Run and they have showers, but it is low evalation no trees. It is a little too far from my favorite places like sheep creek.
At one of the stores in Manila, is a laudermat/public fee shower.
