looks like Bluegill to me but if I am wrong someone will let us know LOL.
I wanna say gill too but something isn’t right with the proportions.
I would say bluegill also . But we all know its a pan fish. or brim
my friend caught something like that. his was a bluegill crappie bass mix and was cool. i would say that is mainly gill with some sunfish because of the pointed dorsal and anal fins and maybe smallmouth bass because of the color. hope that helps
