Wedding ring found

Our group found a wedding ring in Birch Creek Reservoir’s parking lot. Please be honest. Give me a description of the ring, looks, metals used, engravings etc. and I will let you know if it is the one I have.

Good on ya!! How was the fishing??

Sounds like someone was given an ultimatum and decided to hit the lake instead of going home. I think there was a country song awhile back about that.

Its my ring. You can have it. The wife said its her or fishing…gee im gona miss her![;)]

I thought that was the name for a lure???:laughing:

I wish I could say it was mine. I lost mine years ago while fishing on the Logan River. I still use that as an excuse everytime I want to go fish.

I keep telling my wife that someday I am going to catch that fish that swallowed my ring thinking it was a lure!!

Needless to say, my reasoning isn’t too convincing.

I lost my first wedding ring while fishing the Provo in 1979 and lost my second wedding ring in Scofield in 1984. I’m on my third ring now but the same very understanding wife![sly]

That is why I always leave all of my rings safely home when I go fishing.

I’ve got one on the bottom of Bear Lake if anyone comes across that one.

Years ago, my two sisters and their husbands were sailing the Hobi Cat up at Rockport. While learning how to use the boat, my brother in law’s ring fell off into the dirty water along the beach. They were so frustrated because he was doing his MPA at a local university and was being picked up on by the ladies. Probably more frustrating for sister than my brother in law[;)]

Anyway, about 2-3 weeks after the “incident” at Rockport, my other sister and brother in law were sailing again. While relaxing on the beach, they got a shiny glimpse of light. You guessed it, it was my other brother in law’s ring.

The funnest part was the Ping Pong tournament we held as a family. Conveniently, they “won” the tourney and the grand prize was a neatly wrapped little box. You should have seen the look on my sister’s face when they opened that box and saw the ring. It was really fun.

So…you never know, it might just show up again.
