waxing the ice sled

I know this topic has aready been discussed earlier this fall… but I’m not finding it using the search feature!

Can anyone shoot me a link to the post about waxing the ice sled.

Or post up how you do it and what materials you use… candle wax vs. ski wax, rub on vs. melt on, etc.

I would suggest that you try an aerosol spray of teflon.

It may take a couple of coats, and require additional coats as the season go on, but it works, and doesn’t leave the mess you will find with waxes.
