Wanted old bamboo fly rods

I would like to try my hand and rebuilding old bamboo fly rods, does anyone have any ideas I can use to be able to find them? Thanks!

I have a few good places to check!

  1. eBay- they have A LOT of fishing stuff for sale there.
  2. Flea markets- people sell everything, including the kitchen sink! I bought one of my favorite combos at one for $5.
  3. Ditto. Garage sales.
  4. Newspaper classifides.
  5. classifides. If you are in CT, MA or RI check out bargainnews.com
  6. Put up a wanted sign on those community trader boards at grocery stores, etc…
