Hey there guys,

Sometimes I run across some really useful sights for fishing and tubing along the central/southern Callifornia coast.

The website below will give you a beach’s water quality at a couple of clicks of the mouse.

The rating goes from A+ to F with A+ being the best. Just click on the dots representing the many locations along the coast. They have an explination of how the data was compiled if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Remind me to bring my lead-lined waders when I come over there. Maybe I’ll just wear a HAZMAT suit over my waders for fishing California waters.

That is pretty much the industry standard. Hazmat suit, lead substitute lined gloves, boots, and suitliner. SCBA. Solar shielded face mask. And 14 layers of kevlar just in case there is a drive by shooter.

Let me rethink my itinerary. Maybe it would be easier to just book a flight to the Mideast. Wonder how the Beirut bass are doing this time of year. Might even go for some Iraqi rainbows. Dodging RPGs couldn’t be much worse than PWCs.
