Tried out my belly boat for the second time, this time at Utah lake. Had a big fish on for the first time in the tube what a rush. He pulled me around then turned me around fought him for maybe 2 or 3 minutes, then he let go but I learned a lesson set the hook at least 3 times on big fish when your in the tube. And hold your rod tip low and point towards the fish so he doesn’t ture you around. Did catch a few crappie and blue gill and one walleye. Oh never did see the one that got away but he was big. Probably a carp that’s what I am going to believe, don’t want to think it was a big walleye.
Poncho you are killing me. I haven’t gotten my walleye fix this year. I will be at Willard on Sat so I hope I fix that problem. What part of the lake did oyu fish?

I was at the state park marina cove, got there about 11:00, waited till it started clearing up before I left home. Yes jig and nightcrawler. This time I had it under a bobber with the jig real close to the bottom.
