Monday afternoon I went out in east bay for a couple of hours hoping to find some whities to play. I did get 1 white bass, 1 crappie, and these 3 beauties. Had some friends visiting and did we have a feast!

This morning I went out in the same area but found cats out cruisin. Kept 5 “cookie cutters” (15-18") for dinner.
My son asks about once a week when we’re going to have “kitty Krispies”. Looks like tonight’s the night.
The cats had no interest in commercial catfish nuggets or Gulp. Nice morning for a picnic though–good thing I brought a hot dog.
Two of the cats were extra frisky and chased down a small chartreuse jig.
Great fun and great eating.
