Utah Lake LMB Starter KIT?

Plain and simple, I am new to Bass fishing and want to go get me some gear. What are the staples for every tackle box to increase the odds of catching some large mouth at Utah Lake???

If it were me I would pick up a few of the following

plastics - tube, worms(senkos), creature baits
top h20 - pop r’s and buzzbaits
crank and jerk baits- rapalas, smithwicks and luckycrafts
inlines - bluefox, meps, rooster tail, all tipped witta crawla
glider baits

some kind of crawdad scent to scent maily your plastics

Wildcat gave you a good list. The only thing I would add is a package of Zoom Flukes for you creature bait.

Add a spoon or two, and personally i dont use inlines as much as i would use a spinnerbait, single hook, and is somewhat weedless. Bass love cover so unless you like losing lures (especially as a beginner) i’d go with a few different spinnerbaits. Again i really prefer the Strike King Mini Kings, there are a large variety of colors and theyre real cheap (personal favorite is Red/White w/ one colorado, and 1 willow blade. Inlines do work real well in the open though for sure. Also you’ll probably want to try a pepper jig.

6" green pumpkin brush hogs texas rigged will catch you fish in all situations. Using a bait you know will work will help take the guess work out of what your doing. That is the one bait i use on utah lake and many of the lakes around here. just throw it into the reeds and bump it a few times off the bottom. good luck!

Everything that the others have told you to try will work great and these that I make have been great producers to
