Utah Lake Ice??

I am looking to head out to Utah lake to fish tomorrow. Just wondering if anybody knows how the ice is after this heatwave we had today?
I am looking to go to the pumphouse or the Saratoga harbor area, unless somebody wants go give me a tip that would be a better place to go.

Any info on what to use for gills and crappie would also be appreciated.
And I will be in a green qf3 so don’t be afraid to say “hi”
Thanks in advance,

Ken C.

I went to Lindon on New Years day and the ice was plenty safe, but I caught only one bluegill in three hours.

I was @ the pump house today thick safe ice is all i saw.

I was thinking of heading out in the morning. I have never been there though, but I will look for ya

I’ll be in a green qf3 and have 2 guys with me!
See you there.

i’ll be there too. hopefully i can sneak in there with you guys. i’ll be there with my 5 year old boy. it’d be cool to see some of ya there!!

Be very careful if you go out on the main lake in the Saratoga Springs area. There are lots of hot springs and the ice can be really thin. Your best bet is to stay in one of the channels by the pumphouse. Saratoga Springs marina is private property and they aggressively enforce the no trespassing law. Good for the residents, bummer for the rest of us.
