Just to add a bit of info. The whole lake is pretty much capped as of this morning. I doubt that it is safe yet, but Lindon and Provo harbors were both well frozen. I am betting by the weekend, temps in the teens the next few nights. Looks like we will have a choice of sites this weekend !!!
This weekend?! Why wait lol. Iced Utah lake today!!! 3 inch in some spots 2 inch in others. A couple pock marks oozing water in odd places but nothing too dangerous. Been on much thinner ice. The white bass are not on the feed though…only one lonely white. I think it’s time for somewhere else.
Did you get any gils or crappies? If so, how man?
Didn’t try for any gills or crappies… just dropped a huge sonar down as usual for whites.
