I just thought I’d do a bit in letting anyone that may be interested know about a bass tournament that will be held on Utah Lake on Wednesday May 7 @ 3:00 PM. It will be an evening tournament. Check out www.utbass.com . These are tournaments held by Cliff (UTBASS on the board here). His contact info ought to be on that website. It ought to be a lot of fun because the bass fishing has started to heat up out there lately. I boated a 6.5 lb hawg out there last week. I believe the entry fee is $35 and this is a Pro/Am style tournament. And for those of you who have always wanted to learn about how to catch the largemouths in Utah Lake…fishing in a tournament is a great way to do it. I know there are a couple of my Utah Lake tricks that I’ve picked up by sitting in the back seat during a tournament or from hearing about what the winners did to catch their fish.
