He was using something like Pline xx beacause the line manufactures are getting a bit how shall we say “creative” on some line ratings and if it said 6# it may well have been 12-17 #. see the example from another board.

When you think about it these ratings these newer lines are the next best thing to spectra braids.
The only problem is that you can overload the rod and reel real quick with these super lines and start breaking gear if you’re not careful
