Ultimate Flippers

Here you go, but not cheap at $169 to $200

and here I was sure you were gonna show us your high heel flippers.. but on a serious note.. who makes those and are they the update to the ones where you can kick your way forward??

MacFly

hese may be cool -

sort of like paddle pushers . . . and

fins . . . and

easy walking into the water FORWARD!

at that price, I think I can walk in backwards for a while yet

thats half the price of a new tube.. LOL..

MacFly

Dave Scadden’s new HOT ITEM! I love them and I guess if you can afford his boats, this isn’t a big deal. Plus the price he post and what he sales them for are generally two different things.
I am looking at his Carbon Oars, so I might try talking him into letting me demo a pair. Wish me luck[;)]

There could be a set of Force Fins for sale on the horizon

sis… you and your toys.. lol.. but at least you let us SEE them.. course in my case it makes me drool and want that toy as well.. [sly]

…now I did a little checking on these omega fin and found a site with a short video on them and how they work.. here is the link for the OMEGA FINS…

MacFly

Thats why your selling your toons

:sunglasses:ANN..Another Nice Novelty.

Without trying them, my first impression is that they are too short, too narrow and too stiff for my preferences. And, while the “tip-up” idea may address the problem of walking forward in fins, it potentially creates more problems with the “mechanical parts” of the connection. Anything that has a mechanical connection is subject to breakage…no matter how much Scadden charges for them.

Nope. I have tried MANY kinds of fins and I think I will stick with the Mares. Simple but comfortable and effective…and about half the price.

I will agree with the moving parts thing, but too short and narrow? They look just like the Scuba fins.

Not wanting to give an evaluation till I learn as much as I can, I did some research.
From what I found, Mares Avanti and Omega are the same sizes starting at 21 3/8" up to 25" in over all length Blade length also max at 14"
The Mares have what I see as a 24 Month Warranty and do not say where they are made.
The Omega have a LIFE TIME and are made in the USA. Stainless still bolt on the hinge.

So it all just boils down to price and the fact that the Omegas can go over a wading boot :sunglasses:

…if I could afford them Id try them because I like to try to think outside the box so to speak like TN2 does.. if it were not for him I would not of purchased a long crappie rod (13’+) that I am going to try a couple of different things with … makes life interesting…

*As long as one of those things is not trying to re-string it from a float tube after a break off [;)]

…lol… that is true.. but an adventure from a float tube is one thing I do have in mind.. of a sort anyway…[:)]
