Went out yesterday to utah lake with the kids. What a mistake, heard deer creek was hot, utah lake was not. Only one baby channel caught in 5 hours. Fished south of provo river in the reeds, the west jedi of provo harbor, then headed to the bubble up for some action, and thats where we got the only fish. The boat ran really good after all the problems I was having, it was the just the wires going to the battery. Oh well at least the kids had fun, water was about 47 at arrvial at 11 and got up to 56 at 4pm. Should be getting good soon.
I missed so many fish yesterday i had to switch to a smaller bait but all the fishing was good about 2 feet from the edge of the reeds .
we tried that with no luck only fish was caught on a crawler by my 3 year old around the third bouy at the bubble up
