Well i decided to try my first night fishing for cats, the night started off real slow, then after it was completely dark the kitties woke up, with 2 poles it was constant for about an hour and a half, reel one in on one ploe and reach over to set the hook on the other, then whe you got the one in and the other pole baited and back out reel in the other, total was 17 fish all but one released, averaging cats were only 15 to 18 inches, then it stopped so I went to sleep to try in the morning.
Sunday morning was pretty slow, only boated one carp all morning then left at 11:00 AM.
Sure was a fun night though for about an hour and half. Sorry no pictures my son did not go with this time and i had more than i could handle with the 2 rods.
LOL, was my best trip there other than no real big ones but the one that broke my line by the boat[frown], I wish I could have got that one in the boat then you would see pics from the dinner table . others were not braggers just fun to catch that many in a short time. I have not done that since I stopped float tubin/flyfishing.
I decided 2 poles are good until you get into the fish then they turn out to be more work than good.
those are small fish compared to the ones you catch but ill take what I get.
I told the fishies to cough up the ID but they would not, so I sent them packin! and catfishgitter is more laughing at the fact that i cant catch anything big there i have to use my son for that!@ and he can attest to the fact that I get a lot of bites(last year could not hook anything though) this year i actually hooked em WOOT!
You want pics then someone has to be with me i’'m not talented enough to take pics while fishing with 2 poles and trying to release the babies i caught.
If they wre over 20 inches i would have kept them and took pics at home, but dont want to take pictures of fish that look like bait to catfishgitters last pics from UL.[;)]
