For those of you itching to get to the pump house, you need a prayer and some cold temps. I took my 2.5 y/o son over there this morning to see what it looked like (although I knew it would not be good) and it was a lot of water with some resemblance of slushy icy stuff out in the middle. We decided to drop a line down from the dock since we were there. We were surprised to pull in 2 white bass and little perch. It will take some good freezing to get that place back on track. Anyway, just a little report and a little pic of the boy catching a fish or 2.

How do you access the side with the dock I have to walk across the damn and down the lake shore can u acess it from the road rather than walking around. Hope that makes sence if not dont blame all truck drivers lol
If you park in the large parking lot on the west side of the road there is a road that is actually a driveway back to the houses next to the pump house. You follow that road back and there is a gate that you can walk through right before you get to the houses. After going through the gate you just follow the path to the water. Hope that made sense!!
Hey, that’s cool that you got into some fish with your partner there from the dock. Very cool. I’m sure there have been a few folks go through the ice there the past couple of weeks… I hope that we get some good cold temps soon, but for the next week or so, it doesn’t look like good mid and lower elevation lake ice making weather…[pirate]

Access on the east side is only available during the ice fishing season. Other times it is closed, and you have to access from the west side.
Fished today for a couple of hours around noon off the dock NODDAA not even a bite. What is the deal with the owners of the house. they were acting like i kicked there dog. Oh whell i still had no success. ice is floating around Pray for cold. That is alot easier to access from the parking lot. Thanks for info.
