Does anybody here ever snowmobile into lakes along the Mirror Lake Highway and do any ice fishing? I would bet the fishing is pretty good, but I’ve never heard much about it other than I think roughin’ outdoors had a little blurb on it a few weeks back.
This time of year, ice may be 4 feet thick, under 6 feet of snow. Tough conditions.
We go in sometimes during the late fall and early winter, when there is snow and ice up there but nothing yet at lower elevations.
