So I headed out to the lake to try out the boat since I had fixed the starter. Got to Tyner Rd ramp around 2:30pm. The boat did run pretty well considering, so I did make it to more than one spot. I finally got out of the wind and caught 3 bass in about 3.5ft of water. All of them on a red eye shad. This was off the main lake and where water was flowing between two pieces of land. I guess the bass were sitting in there waiting on some food get pushed through. The water temp got up to 59 ish.<br /><br />I went out Sunday as well with Mendy but only got one small crappie. The wind was crazy, everywhere, gave up and went and worked in the yard. Water temp that day was 59 -62F depending on where you were.<br /><br />I also replaced the spark plugs in the boat on Sunday and it made all the difference in the world. I think the boat is going to last this season, I sure hope so.
