Wonderin if anyone has been over by twin lakes lately. any ice on it? I live in evanston,wy but from montpelier. goin fishin friday and i want to head that way

I doubt you will find ice there at all and am very doubtful that it would be safe ice. When I picked up a fish from my taxidermist about 10 days ago, he had been fishing Twin only a week before and said the water temperature was above 40 F. I guess they had been filling it…
But then again, stranger things have happened. It has been very cold here is S.E. Idaho for last week or two.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, he said he was nailing the large mouths - by trolling of all things.
Based on the recent post of Weston ice fishing, you are probably between seasons at Twin with more chance of ice fishing than open water…
