Tube Taxi and Kitties

That is why I like the tube and toons. Sorry I just don’t like the NFO stuff, ugly and pricey.[:p] also I noticed on the sea eagle website they are offering the frameless toons now as well. Can even put the small 3 hp motor one them too.

You realize Dave Scadden was one of the original designers for the SFC?
Ugly? Okie doklie.

Yes I do realize Dave was a designer for the SFC. Thought his stuff way back when was still pricey and I do not use the FC4. Only my wife does! I like the Water skeeter models. I also have issues with the bucks bags, venture outdoors, and creek company. Yes I am picky and proud of it.[;)]

And that is cool…no problem there.

Everyone has a different taste in craft. You prefer the NFO brand. Others the Creek Company brand. That is ok, for each of us need to find the craft the suits them. For me I have been looking a long time, hence why I still use the Leigh craft. Not many made like it anymore. Nothing against others and their choices, I am just picky for what I want and what I am looking for.

Hubby started off with the Leigh, so been there and done that…LOL

Then you know why I am picky for the frames now are not built as well as the leighs let alone some of what I see out there just does not jive.

Too bad more people didn’t share your feelings. They might still be around.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. I would like to plan a trip to look for some kitties some time soon. Maybe next weekend or on the 10th of may.

:sunglasses:No way next weekend.

We can watch the weather for something in May. But I will be hitting Willard pretty hard through May. Keep in touch.

Well isn’t there some catfish in willard bay? I just want to get into some catfish.

:sunglasses:Lotsa cats in Willard. They always like to play up there…and they are some of the best eatin’.

So on one of your many trips up this next month. Do you mind if I tag along.

:sunglasses:Unless I need a “brain broom”…some personal quiet time on the water, all by my lonesome…I will let others know of my plans and they are free to join in.

But, you need to send a PM with your schedule and plans and I can let you know if it fits. You mentioned you have some time on the 10th. That is a Monday and if the weather is favorable we can plan something. Have your peeps contact my peeps.

And watch oput for Murphy![;)] I remember last years attempts at attacking lakes on mondays.

:sunglasses:But this year…without the Kevin Factor…all of our Mondays have been calm and great fishing.

Hmmmmm?

Don’t blame me on this one. I went fishing monday in Grand Juncntion and caught some crappie.:sunglasses: I posted the adventure on the colorado board. I went to the Highline State Park located in Loma CO. Pics attached.

I figure since the weather is crappie here (pun intended) I am going to do some fishing down there. I purchased a CO season license and I figure six more times out this year will pay for it there. So I can get out up to twice a week this way/:slight_smile:. Also just purhcased a gently used Caddis Uboat that I am rigging up to store there in Grand Junction at the Hotel (we have a closet to store stuff there) so that I can get out on the water. Have two rods there and just got a fairy wand to take as well. Want a baitcasting rod but need to find one that breaks down to fit in a sterilite bin.:slight_smile::slight_smile::slight_smile: Can’t wait to get on the water down there.

:sunglasses:Good on ya!

That has always been one of the big attractions of float tubing. You can carry a deflated tube and some tackle wherever you go…and when there is some water that needs fishing you can take care of business.

Looks like you will be getting in more fishing this year.
