The motor weighs around 60lbsā¦same as a battery.
The new mods, put the seat up 7" and the gas tank underneath.
How does the higher seat affect rowing? Or do you figure that doesnāt matter since you have the motor?
Have to get back to you on that one. I am sure it will effect it, just not sure how badly. I did buy him another seat so with four wing nuts he can change and use flippers.
Will the gas tank interfere with your standing platform? That does look like a whole lot of fun. I would love to see it in action. Be sure and give us a report when you can get it out and test it.
Not with the elevated seat. The standing platform is outā¦no feet in the water. The tank is on removable brackets under seat.

No PVC needed. Gonna get me one of them big equipment tire tubes and just set that bad boy right down in the middle of the tube and strap it in. Then I can put a saddle on it and rideā¦rideā¦ride.

But the Zodiacs are only one configuration - boat. The NFO are kick boat, row boat, river raft, and Zodiac style boat.
Plus the Zodiacs cost about $3500.

Generally, when I go with the Hubby, IF we launch at the same time, I go one way and he goes the other. Then whom ever gets into fish radios the rest. Cover more water that wayā¦by the end of the day we are all grouped together
