how bout this for topwater action,I forgot the name of these fish,anyway just thought I’d share,"viewer discretion is advised"a teenage duck gets eaten..I’ve seen big blue gill jump with a 5 or 6lb bass jumping in the air after them in hot persuit.

Used to hit-em-big as a kid in Michigan on little poppers. Been trying to re-enact the action - still working on it. Love getting my topwater slapped!

good question, it seems to me for Bass and Pike in my area, the warmer the better.
Some guys say they use a buzzbait year round. But I like it to be at least 60 degrees before I try it.
