Its been several years since I have posted on the website…fortunately, nothing has changed! Anyway, I hit the Berry with a good friend on Saturday the 26th and Tuesday the 29th. Saturday we found fish at about 17 feet that were very aggressive and taking 2 inch white tubes tipped with bait. I ended up with 8 and my buddy landed 4. Also worthy of note, 2 of those 8 were fat football rainbows. Not bad for a half a day of fishin’. Tuesday our luck increased. The same buddy and I combined for 27 on Tuesday. I landed 20 of them and my buddy the remaining 7. Unfortunately, no bows were caught on Tuesday. At least 10 of the 20 cutts that I landed were within an inch of busting the slot. I got sick of measuring 21 and 1/2 inches over and over again. The bite was very light and you had to be paying attention in order to see each bite. The the best depth was around 18 ft.
