the Wolftever Kid, CHICKAMAUGA, 103 CRAPPIE, 7/17/11, DAVID

Started fishing with David at 6:15am., first two spots taken. we started catching crappie on docks, followed by blowdowns.
We then fished bridges and dropoffs. The water we fished was 10-25 feet deep. Most crappie were toward the bottom. We used 1/32 oz. jigs in 15ft.
deep or less water and 1/16 oz. deeper. Outlaw Special was a hot color earlier on, especially on 2 inch Slab Slayers by BG. I also did well later in the day with
BG 2.25" MINNOW MIND'R in Silverfish and Roly Poly. We had caught 60 keeper size crappie by 11:00. The boat traffic picked up to
typical weekend madness, and the catching got harder. Picked up my #29th 14 in. crappie of the year before 11:00 too. When we got to 80
we decided to go all out to get to 100. The last 10 were tough, the final 2 took a long run. Finished at 6:15 pm. with 103 keeper crappie,
all released. Glad we had plenty of drinks in the cooler, seemed very hot.
