Two Republican state lawmakers in Ohio and Indiana have or are planning to introduce legislation that would add an amendment to each state’s constitution guaranteeing the right to hunt and fish.
Does your state currently have legislation that gaurantees these rights? How do you feel about protecting these rights by way of state constitutional amendments?

A mandate that would garrentee the right to hunt, fish, and trap would be awesome. Interesting that the anti’s had a hand in stopping NJ bear hunt. Didn’t read that in the papers. No surprise there. As our land and funding seem to get smaller each year a law protecting it may help. To many tree huggers in this state may make it hard to pass.
