Put in at Harrison Bay around 7 am and headed up river to fish a flat. Nothing there so we started flipping docks. That's where we found the fish. The first dock I flipped under the bait failed to reach the bottom. I saw slack in my line, reeled down and set the hooked. I knew then it was a big one. I got it in, weighed it and it was 8.83 lbs. We fished to around 11am, our best 3 would have been around 16 lb. So I am looking forward to the cff this Saturday.
