Drove up to Smith and Morehouse on Sunday to see what it looked like, there was still a very thin layer of ice on most of the lake, but there was a very small area that was not covered. Should hopefully open up here in a couple weeks if the weather continues improving, along with Mirror Lake.

Thanks for the post and the pics. I think I might try this next week to see how she’s doing. It is hard to find a more beautiful setting than this little reservoir.
It is a great little spot just even for the scenery! I love it up throughout those mountains
