Been getting some long overdue “projects” done lately.
Finding myself up at 3:30am I headed for a nearby trailhead.
Having plenty of time to kill before sunrise I took some shots, and rigged up the fly rod.
Right as the sun put a hint of light, the fish were bitting.
I casted out a large hopper and missed a quick strike. Before I could get the hook out of my shirt it was raining. Pretty much turning the “off” switch on the fish. All I could do was cast, and take pictures of the ducks.
Easily persuaded by a brief disscussion, BFT’s Bscuderi joined me for some night fishing on the Jordan River. He got 1 White Bass, 1 Mud Cat, and 2 Channel Cats. Me, I got the skunk…strike 2!
