Hit Strawberry yesterday with my 10 y.o nephew, we were in the water by about 10:45 am. We headed straight to the north end of Strawberry bay, marked fish in 25’ of water. Anchored up and strated dropping white tube jigs tipped with chub meat. Fishing was great, not fast and furious but very steady.
Found fish from 15’-35’ most were in the slot but one may have been over, didn’t put a tape on him. Seemed that the water temp was around 64 degrees. I hooked most of the fish and let nephew reel em in but he did stick a few himself and get em to the boat. We probably finished with 15 cutts’, no bows.
In the mail Kent[angelic], I maybe saw a total of 10 boats on the water yesterday and only one or two in “your spot”[;)] . All fish still swimming so we can get em again.
Good report Mike. Glad you could get the nephew into some action. Cant say much for myself. Only one Wiper out at Willard after I got off the phone with you. I did catch a killer sunburn though, even with the sunscreen on!!! I am going to try and get next Thursday off, let me know if you want to hit Pineview. I am good for gas or we can take my “tub”!!!

Yeah Yeah Yeah, my head burns once then the skin peels off then I am good to go, nothing but Tan baby!!! I was going to take a dip in the water, but the water temp was 83, might as well have jumped into a hot tub!!!
