what are the ice conditions like up at strawberry? is the ice melting, or is it good and solid still? safe enough to ice fish still?

I called the Strawberry Marina this morning and was told that there is only about a foot of open water around the shoreline and a section at the ladders. I am way anxious to get up there and stick some fish. It will take another week or two.
