I’ve been remiss posting reports this fall. I hit Strawberry Saturday with a fishing buddy. We fished Strawberry side near Haws point, Mud Creek, and the ladders.
We landed two very nice bows 20 and 19 early. But generally it was a slow day.
We finished at 1PM with 14 between us (which is very slow for us).
DNR was surveying fishermen and apparently we did much better than most… so I guess it was a slow day all around.
The water was still 50 degrees. Hopefully it will cool down and the fishing will heat up through November.
Three of us hit the berry Tuesday . we got 47 all together . I picked up 25 of the 47. Our method of fishing was white, speckel white, and smoke colored tube jigs. We tipped everything with minnows lot of cuts, about a third rainbows and they were caught on powerbait. Was cloudy, slight breeze all day. We stayed in The Meadows. Was a good day
