Fished strawberry saturday, started by the old dam on the strawberry side and trolled towards the ladders back and forth, caught 40 fish downrigging with Christenson lake shore tackle squids (plum crazy, green stain and pink stain) also used Stuart Angling hot red/glow blade kokanee lure. Caught kokes, rainbows and cutts 15-35ft down scents where procure Herring, Carp Spit and sweet corn, lures tipped with berkly gulp maggots. trolling 1=1.5mph

Way to go, man! Strawberry is Utah’s finest fishery IMO and I’ll get back over there one of these years.

I was bummed I couldnt head down with you…I was in the middle of my FTO with Ogden but I’m all wrapped up now. Schedule is a bit odd but I will have quite a bit more time on the hands now…so give me a holler if you need some company. If Im not workin Im down.
Im cleaning the garage and getting my boat all ready today…I havent had a chance to get out on the boat since mid June.

Reminds me of being around Mt St Helen’s after she blew her top - and all the roadside ‘booths’ selling souvenirs, like bottles of ash.
Uh yeah - you could scoop it up from about ANYWHERE for free.
I don’t think I want to ask what that juice smells like when you pop the cap! haha.
Bent poles - that’s funny. Yup - they bend down when loaded on the big ball, then they POP up when a fish snaps it free. It’s a cool system - gonna hafta drag mine over to Hyrum now that schools on, and it’ll start cooling down. Maybe I’ll take one to Willard just for the control (almost seems a waste with only 20ft depth - but see folks using them).
