What a waste of a post. Hit strawberry sunday. Beautiful day, hardly any wind, lots of sun (and burn). Tried just outside of the south entrance to the narrows, a cove along the west side, chicken creek, jakes bay…and ONE fish. woohoo. Slot limit cutt. The excitement of the day was getting pulled over on the way up there because we had a crack in the windshield lol. I think we have pissed the fish gods off something major because we cant seem to catch anything, even if we were thrown in a pool of hungry fish [;)]

Strawberry is pretty much shut down and has been so for almost 2 weeks. Before that it was on fire then something about that last storm really turned it off.

hit dah berry yesterday and found its still on the down slide. The fish were scattered.
well it’s good to hear that I am not the only one that had a rough day this weekend at Strawberry. I went with my father on Saturday, and we only caught 2 fish. I was too embarrassed to make a post of my trip. 
So whats the water temps looking like there right now?

And after everything I taught you and your father![;)] Sorry to hear that you didn’t find more willing fish. I have been chasing the kitties lately, but I will make it up there one of these days. This has always been a good time of year for me, but I have heard from another angler who has done great in the past in August but has also been struggling recently. With the higher water it is definitely a different water to try to figure out.
m going down there saturday, i will catch fish, i 100% promise it!! using FG’eses teachings im predicting 5 fish in 6 hours, with 2 busting the slot.
if i dont post my results by sunday its because i dont want to embarass myself proving i was skunked… or could it be becuase the fishing was so dam hot i dident want to give up any info? very provacative…
I have not been up there yet, but you know I like to jig fish it in the summer. when you going out again?

I understand it’s been rough with trying to stay ahead of the game this year. Glad you made it out. and if you all plan on going out let me know I wont to try to get up there and see what we can do on getting you into some fish. with the high water it’s all a matter of finding where they are hanging out now. Let me know
i sold my boat, i like flot tubeing so much better!
