The ice was about 10 inches thick. More than I had expected since there was only about 5 where I fished Tuesday. It started out pretty hot as I had to keep helping my boy with bites and couldn’t get my hole drilled. My brother iced two and missed some before I ever got a hole of my own. There were a lot of fish on the finder and pretty steady bites until about 10. Couldn’t seem to hook them though on my boys pole. I think it was just the extra help though as I didn’t have the same problem on my pole. On my pole I tried to set the hook on 4 and caught two so we could have done better but it was his day and he had fun. My brother should have had more but just wasn’t his day to get them all the way through the hole. I think he only iced 3.
The hotel was pretty quiet. Never herd anything from them. The tent in-between them and us didn’t have much luck and started moving around a lot before we left.
