I had winterized the boat a couple weeks back but after hearing how hot the fishing has been I said what the heck and we weren’t disappointed. We arrived at Renegade at about 9ish, myself, Mrs. Works to Fish and son of works to fish. Ambient was 28 and water temp was a cool 40. We didn’t go far, stayed in the renegade area targeting 30 feet of water. We used white tubes with a small piece of minnow and a little smelly jelly. Fish were caught all over, they were on the bottom, in the middle and right under the boat and anytime you had a fish on there was almost always a trailer to be hooked up. Between taking pictures and baiting hooks, I quit counting around 50 but my guess would be we probably landed 75ish. We had a few over the slot but left them to bite another day. What a great way to spend a Sunday with the family.

I’m trying this Inline thing and not resizing pictures, hope I don’t screw it up.

Great report  Looks like you made some super memories [fishin] thanks for the pictures also, I for one would love to get up the berry but have too many time restraints right now. [frown] so I really enjoy all the info that you and the others share :slight_smile::slight_smile:

Nice report, great pics :sunglasses:Got to love the Berry.

Super nice report and good choice to get the family and the boat back out. Thanks for sharing, one question what size tubes and jigs?

We were using a 4 inch tube with an enternal 1/4 or 3/8 weight. Getting to the bottom and being able to stay there was important.
