Crankem, Good to see that you and your bride are going to be at starvation. I thought that you were going to be stuck in Wyoming. This should be a great tournament; great people, warmer temps and biting fish. I’m really looking forward to it.

Well the plan was to go fish two tourneys in Wyo. But getting the qualifying spot for the Cabelas NTC in July kind of put a stop to that plan.
It’s OK because I’ll now get to fish Starvation,and the Idaho tourney.
Still going to fish the Boysen tourney the 3rd week in June.
Thers no northern pike in Boysen but still great walleye fishing. If you want to come up and meet us there. It would be fun to have you come along and I’d be happy to show you the lake.
We can talk about it at Starvation. I plan on being there a couple of days before and after the tourny.
As long as you remember your licence I’ll count on you bein there! Cant wait to see your haul.
I also dont know how to get ahold of your son to see if he was planning on coming too, so if you could ask him and let me know or shoot me an email with his email in it or whatever, I’d be grateful.

My son dosen’tr have a partner and he was wondering if he can fish by himself? He’ll be in his boat. His girl friend had enough tourney fishing for a while after the Yuba adventure.

I will probably have one if not two in the boat for the tourney providing I don’t get hosed and can’t make it there. I’ll let you know however. Glad Crankem is coming, except now it will be a lot harder to place. Not that I am anticipating that by any means. Hope to get something to weigh would be my hope.

I am looking for someone to fish the tournament with. I dont know you or your boy but I like meeting and fishing with others. If your son wants to fish the tournament still and have a boat partner I would be all about meeting up a couple days before the tournament and doing some fishing, then he could decide if he wants to let me tag along on his boat for the tourny. I am sure that I am not as pretty as his girlfriend but I am not so bad. Also know a thing or two about starvation and the walleye that I cant seem to stop fishing for. Let me know or PM me and if it is a good idea we will go from their. Id understand if it is a little too weird.

I’d prefer if he had someon in the boat with him, seeing as we do the digital photo thing its just really hard to take a picture whilst holding a fish of yourself. If he doest feel comfortable fishing with someone new, then I guess we could maybe work something out with him. Have him get ahold of me, and we’ll go from there.
Just follow him around and go grab his line when he hooks one, then pull it in your boat! lol
FOD: I’ll talk to him about it. If he fishes it he will only be able to come up fri. and sat.
As far as his fishing skills go. He won the Starvation Walleye classic two years ago and is all ways in the money on that lake.
So he’s probably better than his "OLD MAN " or has better luck than me [:p]
But I gave him a fishing lesson out on Willard today [;)]

I dont want to procrastinate too much longer but I need an idea of how much time I might have left to find someone to fish with. I noticed that you guys prefer a witness in the boat to take pics and confirm the catch. So if that is not possible what are some other options for a lone fishermen.
Right now I believe we are somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 people. Absolute max is 49. But thats including our tournament directors and such.
We do prefer a witness just cause its easier on everyone including the angler. If you cant find a partner then you might get stuck with one of our mean tourney directors! lol. Or we can work something out and see where we can take it.
