Contest standings update
**Well if the measurement holds up to Jeff’s eagle eye, jig_fisher posted the first 33 incher I’ve seen in the contest since 2016 when jig_fishers brother, Bottomwatcher put one up in the last day or 2 of the contest.

[b]*Wow what some incredible fish this year! Every time the north makes a move to take the top ten lead, someone on the south steps up to hold us off. MJ held off Paul’s big move. South now holds a 5" advantage on the top ten.
Like Forest mentioned, Paul with his 33" hog has tied our best fish ever in our contest. Be interesting to see if that one gets beat this year, At 92 points Paul has set quite a mark for this early.
Seems like the fish are transitioning to a warmer weather pattern. Nothing but mud cats for me last night and the trip before was limited catch too. Watch out for John to make his move soon Good luck. Later J*[/b]

**OK, some of you may be the number crunching type. I am posting the total running numbers that I keep of every fish that is posted, scored by Jeff, then recorded. If a fish is one of the top 3 in anyones Cat scores, it get’s moved in to the Standings Sheet like the one just posted above, and bumps out a smaller one. This sheet, I have tried to keep the fish scores in the order they were approved. Just to let all know that if I miss one of your fish, it isn’t on “porpoise”.

Only 6 new Cats posted last 10 days. All from North Team, (FishGuyBri and BiggerBait) but scores not changed much.
3 Cats posted this past week. Not much change to scores. I believe Jeff may be on a family vacation. Unknown how long, but I’m sure he will be looking into what has posted while he was away. For now, the posted scores are tentative for those 3 cats from down south. 
OK, Jeff confirmed the Cats posted since last week. BLK, we got both of CatCarsen’s. MrsJ, got yours also.
New standings
New standings. Looks as if the bigger cats are coming back out down south. BLK bumped up into overall 3rd place. With just over 2 months left in this contest, and the top 3 Catters only separated by 3.5 points, could turn into a real shootin match.
OK, Jeff returned from his hunting trip and has confirmed all recently posted Catfish posts. New standings.

** South Team: Best total team score, Biggest Cat , Best Top 10, Best Top 20 . **
**North Team: Largest Youth Cat , Smallest Cat **
Contest standings have been double checked by me, and passed on to Jeff for second pair of eyes.
If no corrections are required, and no more Cats are posted, final standings will be posted sometime 1 Nov.
I forget the actual rule for getting the final post in but it’s shorter than the usual week, so unless we see a new addition today.. I would say the results are final. Congrats all. J
