I have just started in on the fly tying in the last year or so. Very sporatic effort.
My husband usually does most of our tying. I am less patient than he is, and I am a whole lot sloppier! His are great, but I like to try some ideas and things of my own. It just seems to be an extension of the inventive and creative side of fly fishing.
The fish like mine ok, but I would be embarrassed to take them out of my box if anyone was within 50 yards of me!!
