I know some people that own a pawn shop and the bad thing is half of the people that are buying these guns are Pencil Pushing idiots that have never owned a gun or shot a gun and they are going crazy lets hope they know how to lock them up away from kids and others that shouldnt own a gun trust me im all about guns and owning guns i own my share and think everyone should but there should be a class that everyone has to take like hunters safety before you can buy a gun just a one time class with the basic knowledge
Let me clarify that…The letter of intent was signed last week to sell to the canadian company. I think sportmans is a great company, just got too big too fast.

The deal that you are talking about, if it happens, will sale only 49% of the stock only.
Stu will keep 51% and controlling interest.
The current economy has a lot to do with the shelves being low at Sportsman’s and other retailers.
When sales are down, cash flow goes down and you have less buying power.
You could go to sportsmans for the last 3 yrs or so and never find excalibur silver thread on the shelves. Cabelas sells it. You won’t find the 4lb on their shelves though.. gotta order that w/ the online store.

Well,the economy was not too bad this spring,and you still could not get 8# test line then.This went on all summer.Spent a lot of money at Cabelas this year[;)]
