So late post… landed 3 species. Man those fish are pretty.
Fish caught suspended using Rat Finky tipped with thin strips of garlic flavored carp.
Didn’t get a picture of the Bow…

Nice job, and very nice pictures! When were you there? Daughter and I have been to Causey three times this ice season, and got skunked twice (including today [pirate]) and one time caught a couple apiece. Never caught a splake, did get get one tiger though.

You don’t have to say anything specific, but if you could give me a general idea of where you caught these we’d be very grateful! (Even a PM would be fine!)

How big was thesplake? They havent planted those there in a few years. Any survivors must be pretty big by now.

We fished it Saturday the 17th. I have my best luck up against the rocks. The bigest fish was a tiger not pictured and then the bow. The two in the earlier picture were probably 14".
In reference to the splake you guys tell me… is it just a more colorful tiger?

Those look about 6 inches long, how big were they?

Always remember, the Brook Trout and Lake Trout are from the char family. The easiest way to tell them (and consequently the Splake) apart from other trout, the char are a dark fish with light spots. Your pics are light fish with dark spots, meaning they are definitely not Brook or Splake. Like already mentioned… 3 tigers and a rainbow.
